FAQs

What does a typical week look like?

The Academy program is intense and comprehensive. You will have 8 - 10 sessions per week, Monday to Friday. These are made up of strength & conditioning sessions, small-group technical skills sessions and athlete education sessions.

If you are also playing club cricket or hockey, you will have training twice a week and a weekend league match. There are no Academy sessions scheduled on the weekend to allow you time to play club sport and/or explore Melbourne.

What is the average number of participants per session?

We believe small groups maximise your engagement and hands on time, therefore our sessions aim to have no more than 6 participants.

Which program length is right for me?

If you here for a short time, then the 6 week program will most certainly meet your needs and improve your game. If you are here for a full season and want to go into further depth with the technical and conditioning aspects of the program, then the 12 week program is for you. Our Flexi-program is ideal for those who want a quick boost, especially for those who are trying out for an upcoming competition or have missed a training.

What if I start a Flexi-program and want to join in full-time?

If you start with a Flexi-program and love it - we can add you to our six week Academy program with no problem at all! Our Academy block dates are set, but we can adjust session content to catch you up if you're a late joiner. Just let us know and we'll make it happen.

What if I want additional one-on-one sessions?

We believe the Academy program gives you all you need to improve your game and achieve great results. However, if you wish to book additional one-on-one sessions with a technical coach, this can be arranged.

What if I have an injury?

If you get injured, or have a pre-existing injury, let us know so the coaches can adapt the sessions accordingly. We can also link you in with a top sports physiotherapist (at a discounted rate) here in Melbourne.
